The new Haaglanden safety region was established in 2007. Security required for the fire brigade, municipal health services and ambulance services in the region, among other things, called for a rapid implementation. “A new Access Control system had to be installed at all locations with simplified key management. That also meant securing access for all 1200 employees who work at different locations in shifts. This was a huge challenge,” says the Haaglanden safety region’s Team Leader.
The iProtect Security Management Solution was started up and turned out to be exactly what the Haaglanden safety region needed. “It was nerve-racking, but everything worked. They rapidly installed an intercom system, camera surveillance, and security of the lockers and sleeping quarters of the firemen.”
The Haaglanden safety region has counted on iProtect for over ten years already. The sustainable partnership relies on a maintenance contract: “We meet periodically to discuss all aspects of the iProtect systems including maintenance. We feel supported with advice and assistance and they provide us with a perspective into the strategy and any developments anticipated for the future.”
