Westfield Mall of the Netherlands selects TKH Security for PGS
TKH Security has been awarded the Parking Guidance System (PGS) contract for Mall of the Netherlands, owned by leading retail developer Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW).
About Westfield Mall of the Netherlands
This new shopping center, officially opened on March 18th, 2021, has over 280 retail shops and will be a leading lifestyle experience hot spot in The Netherlands. With three indoor car parks and over 2,500 parking spaces, URW chose to install TKH Security’s M4 smart-sensor system, given TKH Security’s experience as a leader in the parking sector.
Elevated Parking Experience
TKH Security’s camera-based M4 Parking Guidance System (PGS) monitors occupancy and provides easy guidance throughout the garage. Designed to help parkers quickly and easily locate available parking spaces within the facility, the M4 system directs visitors through the garage by indicating which spaces are available with color-coded LED lights. This not only enhances the customer experience by significantly reducing the search and park times, but it also improves traffic flow and relieves congestion to ensure the facility is operating at maximum efficiency.
Park Finder
Along with TKH Security’s exclusive M4 technology, the shopping center’s PGS will also come equipped with several software add-ons including, Park Finder, Park Alerts, and FlinQ. The customer-centric Park Finder software module utilizes LPR (license plate recognition) technology to ensure that visitors can easily pinpoint their vehicle upon returning from shopping. Using Park Finder enabled at Scheidt & Bachmann pay stations, travelers push a Find Your Car softkey and are guided to their vehicle. The Find Your Car locator identifies the correct license plate number and corresponding vehicle and provides step-by-step directions to get to the car.
Park Alerts
Additionally, Park Alerts increases control and security in the garage. This software extension allows parking management to set automated time and license plate-based rules and alerts that help staff regulate activity in the facility, enabling management to respond to any violations quickly.
FlinQ
Traditionally parking owners and operators often have to deal with various parking facilities, (brands of) systems, processes, workflows, events, analyzing tools, etc. With the parking management solution FlinQ, systems, and devices like barriers, intercom, surveillance, and parking guidance will be monitored and managed from just one intuitive dashboard.
