Empowered by our integrated License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology, our INX Standard platform tracks a wealth of real-time and historical data across multiple sites, including unique vehicle visits, parking usage patterns, evolving visit-frequency trends, and more. With INX Premium Subscriptions, this ecosystem is further expanded to access an even deeper level of interactive and incisive reports to increase efficiency, streamline expenses, aid marketing/promotional efforts, and improve decision-making across the board.

Using the camera-based M5 smart sensors, every vehicle that parks in an APGS monitored facility is identified through LPR. INX keeps track of exactly who’s using your garage, how often, and when. This enables our Park Alerts add-on software module available with an INX Standard Subscription and our Ops Command+ API package — to automatically recognize and reward repeat visitors. For example, providing loyal customers access to VIP parking zones that are exclusively reserved for them.

On the opposite end of the spectrum, Park Alerts can be also used to detect and monitor parking abuse. Automated notifications can help prevent non-customers from a nearby transit station from continually accessing your free parking. Additionally, they can quickly alert you to known banned vehicles to enable quick response by security teams.

FIGat7th is an open-air shopping mall and office building located in the Financial District of Downtown Los Angeles. Brookfield is one of the leading mixed-use developers in the world. The site has a mixed-use garage that is utilized by office tenants, gym members, and retail shoppers.

FIGat7th selected the Park Assist M3 System in 2012 for its multi-level car park. The Camera System simultaneously and effortlessly monitors and enforces multiple parking policies at once.

Why They Purchased

Handling the different types of parking users in mixed use developments has traditionally required ‘nested’ parking areas within the facility, controlled by inflexible barriers and access cards.  

Our M3 System has the ability to monitor every space in a facility, which allows us to create a more seamless parking experience. One of the advantages is that it eliminates the need for internal divisions within the parking area, resulting in a significant reduction in the number of parking spaces required. This is made possible through our advanced license plate recognition (LPR) technology, which enables us to uniquely identify each parked vehicle based on its plate number. 

Using this knowledge, the M3 System simplifies operations by assessing every parked vehicle against policies specific to that parking location, which can include pricing, time restrictions, location permission and violations which are automatically raised to security or parking staff. 

Our M3 system reads and stores license plates (LPR) and can integrate with the PARCS vendor at the site offering different parking rates for different types of customers e.g., office tenants or retail customers. This is accomplished by monitoring license plates and communicating that data to the PARCS system which charges the appropriate rate. Also, the M3 system can be used for enforcement at sites, ensuring that drivers are not parking in incorrect areas.
