Role Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Presales Engineer to support our Security Systems portfolio across the Latin America (LATAM) region. The ideal candidate will act as a technical expert, bridging the gap between customer requirements and our cutting-edge security solutions. This role involves solution design, customer engagement, technical demonstrations, and collaboration with internal teams to drive sales success.

Role Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, IT, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in a presales engineering role within the security systems.
- Proven track record of designing and implementing security solutions for diverse client needs.
- Knowledge of Spanish Fluent & English B1+ (Higher level English preferred)
- Affinity with Technology & Customer satisfaction.
Main tasks
- Technical Support & Solution Design:
- Provide technical assistance to the sales team during pre-sales activities.
- Analyse customer requirements and recommend tailored security system solutions.
- Design and develop customized security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and alarm systems.
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, including system configurations, cost estimates, and compliance with customer needs.
- Customer Engagement:
- Conduct, when needed, site surveys and assessments to gather information for solution design.
- Deliver technical presentations & product demonstrations to prospective clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor on security technologies and industry best practices.
- Proposal Development:
- Collaborate with sales teams to prepare competitive bids and responses to RFPs.
- Ensure proposals align with both customer requirements and company standards.
- Product Knowledge & Training:
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and trends.
- Provide training sessions for internal teams and partners on new products and solutions.
- Technical Expertise:
- Maintain accurate records of pre-sales activities, proposals, and customer interactions.
- Prepare regular reports on pre-sales performance metrics.
- Communication:
- Clearly and concisely communicate technical information in both Spanish and English, tailored to the client’s level of technical understanding.
- Maintain a professional and positive demeanor in all client interactions, whether remote or in-person.
- Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of security systems (e.g., CCTV, access control).
- Experience with leading brands in the security industry.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in technical documentation and proposal writing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Additional Information
This role requires frequent travel across the LATAM region (up to 50%).
