Eindhoven Airport: The Most Important Point of Departure Was the Choice for an Integrated Solution
Eindhoven Airport is increasingly important on the list of Dutch airports. The airport’s growth is undeniable. To be able to manage this growth, a new passenger terminal was built. The construction plans included security for the new terminal and the surrounding terrain. Our IPROTECT AC Access Control System was the perfect solution.
Challenge:
New legislation by the European Commission states that it is mandatory for airport terminals to have different zones that are only accessible to authorized persons who have been allocated a personalized access pass.
Solution:
Security features, such as access control, visitor registration, intrusion detection, video surveillance, time registration and parking management have been fully integrated.
The system based at Eindhoven Airport consists of Access Control and Keybadge, components that take care of card control.
Floor Plans: Our interactive interface that seamlessly integrates crucial daily use activities that can be tailored for each type of user with several possible options such as:
- Opening a predefined report.
- Live control and management of objects such as cameras and card readers.
- Area counters that help manage parking lot numbers.
- Viewing historical events of an object.
The overall security at Eindhoven Airport is now fully supported by the Intrusion Detection module. Having no less than 200 intrusion detectors, the new terminal has optimal monitoring capabilities.
