Next-Gen Parking Technology Arrives at Sky River Casino
Located in Elk Grove, California, Sky River Casino has quickly emerged as a premier destination for gaming, dining, and entertainment since opening its doors in 2022. Owned by the Wilton Rancheria Tribe and operated by Boyd Gaming, the casino has built a reputation not only for excellence in hospitality but also for its deep investment into the community and regional development. With ambitious expansion plans on the horizon and a commitment to elevating every aspect of the guest experience, Sky River is now turning its attention to an important (yet often overlooked) part of the customer journey: parking.
To support this vision, Sky River Casino has partnered with TKH Security to install an automated parking guidance system (APGS), the Park Assist Solution, in its new five-level parking garage. Designed to deliver a seamless, secure, and stress-free arrival experience, the system reflects the casino’s dedication to leveraging smart technology that benefits both operations and guests.

Monitoring the 1,620 new parking spaces will be a combination of components - the M5 smart-sensor paired with the C5 smart-counting solution.
At the heart of this installation is the M5, an advanced, camera-based smart-sensor engineered to reduce time to park by up to 63% while providing real-time HD visibility to facility operators. Each sensor is equipped with dual CMOS digital cameras capable of monitoring up to six spaces simultaneously, on a space-by-space basis, mounted above the driving lane for optimal coverage and accuracy exceeding 99%. Its fully customizable RGB LED lighting system uses a wide range of colors to clearly signal space availability, highlight special-use or reserved zones, and guide drivers effortlessly throughout the garage.
To complement the M5 system, the C5 smart counting solution delivers precise, bidirectional traffic count data at facility entry and exit points. Together, the M5 and C5 sensors offer a seamless, end-to-end guidance experience—ensuring total visibility, consistent accuracy, and optimized flow from arrival to departure.
Sky River Casino’s APGS package also includes:
- INX-Core Software Suite: A robust, cloud-based platform that offers real-time monitoring alongside historical data analytics, giving operators the actionable insights they need to optimize performance and enhance the overall parking experience.
- Park Alerts:Leveraging integrated license plate recognition (LPR) technology, this feature enables immediate notifications for rule enforcement, such as detecting vehicles that have overstayed, are parked in reserved spots, or match VIP or watchlist profiles.
- LCD-NAV:A dynamic outdoor signage solution that delivers real-time, customizable messages to drivers, improving traffic flow and communication throughout the facility.
