TKH Security, LLC is seeking a Project Manager to be the local liaison in Phoenix, AZ area and face of this Connecticut headquartered company whereby the main duties will be to oversee all aspects of the installation of automated parking guidance system (APGS) to our clients in the Midwest region. Position reports to Director, Project Management and Technology Innovation. It is a fully remote position but 60% travel is required.

The ideal candidate will be well versed in construction sites, specifically installation of technical systems. Supervisory experience is necessary as this position will be directing/coordinating all of the sub- contractors on the job. General contractor experience a plus, as well as experience with inspections.  This is also a client-facing role so prior, proven client relations experience necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee, guide, direct, inspect sub-contractors work product.
  • Be on-site liaison between client(s) and TKH.
  • Communicate with clients coworkers effectively and efficiently.
  • Understand and act accordingly regarding construction best practices.
  • Understand technology such as networking principles.
  • Understand financial planning aspects of all projects and meet all budgetary expectations. Ideally, finishing projects under budget.
  • Act as a support and maintenance role requiring a deep understanding of all contracts and service level agreements (SLAs), providing support on-site, remotely, during regular business hours, as well as, on call hours.
  • Support will include: troubleshooting, maintenance, replacement of solution hardware and software using industry standard and proprietary components at client sites.
  • Constantly staying abreast of most recent changes, upgrades, technology in general but also TKH’s related systems.
  • Relationship building and interacting with client facilities team members, TKH Security staff members/colleagues, contractors/sub-contractors.
  • Document all interactions, service work, configuration changes, etc within TKH’s ticketing system and or Dynamics and Atlassian Confluence systems, per company standards.

Education:

  • 2-year degree preferred in PM for construction projects of PM certification and/or related field experience such as computer science, networking, etc.
  • Certification preferred in Network+, CCNA.
  • Trade school or equivalent experience in construction experience

Experience:

 At least 2-4 years of proven experience in related project management in construction/technology position. Inspection and general contractor type experience would be preferred.

  • At least 2-4 year’s experience in electrical, CCTV, access control, or other low voltage system support. Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve low voltage electrical issues. Firm understanding of TCP/IP networking, wet/dry relays and input devices, etc…
  • 2-4 years in financial project planning/ management of these types of projects.
  • At least 2-4 years proven success in customer service support role in a technical environment with firm understanding of networking principles, Layer 2and Layer 3, VLAN configurations, Windows server, VMWare and Linux distributions.
  • Proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite of products, especially Outlook, Word and PowerPoint, as well as, Dynamics familiarity.
  • Excellent time management skills required/proven ability to prioritize, multitask.

 Training:  

 Training to be conducted at clients’ sites

  • Training conducted at TKH Security, LLC main office in Cheshire, CT.
