Pete Messman joins Park Assist as General Manager, North America

Park Assist is excited to announce that Pete Messman has joined Park Assist as our new General Manager for North America. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to this role, he will be responsible for branch operations and strategy as well as managing the continued growth of Park Assist’s North American business.

Starting in the parking industry in 2011, Pete has worked with several well-known companies focusing on a variety of different specialties, such as hardware (PARCS at DESIGNA), software (Permits and Enforcement at NuPark) and sustainability (lighting at Green Lighting Technologies).

Prior to parking, Pete began his career on Capitol Hill. He has since excelled at sales and marketing consulting, leading product development and marketing at an IT start-up. Additionally, he co-founded a renewable energy project development company in Brazil, Claren Power.

Pete currently lives in Arlington, VA, with his wife and three kids. He enjoys spending time outdoors camping or hiking or at the beach, coaching his kids’ sports teams, and traveling (although not so much these days).
