Software Treasures: Video management that combines license plate recognition with color detection
License Plate Recognition with Color Detection
Sometimes, interesting and innovative software features donโt get the exposure they deserve โ even though their value can significantly contribute to specific projects and different situations.
This time we combine two useful features to create a simple, but very powerful tool: License plate recognition combined with color detection.
But what are the benefits?
The simultaneous usage of these two algorithms enables you to connect the license plate with the color of the car and includes some very useful features:
- Alert Operators: Detect specific/parts of license plates and colors for immediate action and enhance security by triggering events like barrier opening, premises safeguarding, and enforcing protocols.
- Database Search: Efficiently identify cars based on color and partial license plate details in recorded video footage in
a matter of seconds โ saving you time and delivering a list of potential matches for evaluation. - Enhanced Billing Accuracy: Prevent fraud by linking license plate and color data in the billing system. This ensures vehicles leaving parking facilities match the original recorded color, deterring illegal plate swapping to avoid fees.
With this powerful combination, you can unlock a range of possibilities and optimize your video management system
for enhanced security, efficiency, and operational excellence.
