Following in the footsteps of Kansas City International Airport, Wichita Dwight D. Eisenhower National Airport (ICT) is taking aim at providing a superior experience to its passengers before they even reach the doors. As Kansas' largest and busiest commercial airport, ICT continues to set the standard for passenger experience and operational excellence. After a record-breaking 2025 that saw more than 1.8 million travelers pass through its terminals, and another record-setting start to 2026, the airport continues to invest in infrastructure that supports its sustained growth while delivering a seamless experience for passengers.
As part of that commitment, ICT has selected the Park Assist Solution by TKH Security to modernize its parking operations with automated parking guidance (APGS) technology. The deployment reflects the airport's ongoing investment in innovative solutions that improve convenience for travelers while providing airport staff with powerful operational insights and greater visibility into parking assets.

The project will encompass the airport's four-level parking garage, covering 1,200 parking spaces, including 793 covered and 407 open-air spaces. This installation will center around the M5 Smart-Sensor which can monitor up to six parking spaces with greater than 99% occupancy detection accuracy while providing real-time space availability. By guiding drivers directly to open parking spaces with intuitive LED indicators, the system helps travelers park up to 63% faster, reducing search times, improving traffic flow, and creating a more efficient arrival experience from the moment they enter the airport.
The system will be powered by the INX-Core Software Suite, delivering real-time parking occupancy data, analytics, and management tools that help optimize parking operations and improve the overall traveler experience.
